GO Short-Term Trip in Uganda @ I Am Family Ministries

Welcome! I Am Family Ministries, alongside Diving Deeper Discipleship Ministries, are excited to welcome you to Uganda for a short-term mission trip! Whether you are a single person interested in missions or a church group we are here to facilitate your personalized trip. Once you are signed up, your track will be specific to your trip and project. Mission Trips will be from 10-14 days allowing you a chance to make a lasting impact as well as giving you a little time to see the beauty of the Pearl of Africa, Uganda!
I Am Family Ministries is so grateful for your heart to COME and serve some of the world's most needy people with projects from building, farming and community projects, children's ministry, school, sponsorship, and just being here showing the children of Wabinyira how much their Heavenly Father has cared for and loved them.

These will be 10-14 day Short-Term Missions trips to Uganda, in the city of Kampala and village of Wabinyira. Each group or single will choose their trip project or focus and raise or save support for your trip's specific needs as well as whatever attractions your team would also like to experience! All transportation, events, food, and needs will be provided by the Project Coordinator in country - Shanna Sullivan - from the funds you put into your personal global account. 

Country Details: 

I Am Family Ministries is based out of Kampala, the busy city of Uganda near the capital Entebbe where you will fly into. I Am Academy, in Wabinyira, is about an hour and 45 minutes west of the city of Kampala.

Accommodations: 

Adventure Level: Bold Adventurer! 
Intermediate Level - You or your team will experience:

• Picked up and transported in ministry vehicles (with walking walkable distances thrown in where appropriate)
• Stay in an Air Bnb with electricity and running water 
• Village home visits and real-life experiences
• Attend Ugandan nationals church services or times of celebration with singing and dance
• Bottled or filtered water (no running water in Wabinyira, but all of your water/hygiene needs will be met)
• Pit latrines in Wabinyira
• Laundry services provided for you
• Limited access to electricity at times
• Food: a mix between local and familiar foods with lots of fresh tropical fruits!

Adventure Level: Fearless Pursuit!
Advanced Level - You or your team will experience:

• Picked up and transported in ministry vehicles (with walking walkable distances AND public transportation thrown in where appropriate)
• Living situation: Nearby Air Bnb, or a local home rental or tent camping in Wabinyira
• Village home visits and real-life experiences
• Participate in Ugandan national's church services, Overnights (praise, worship, prayer, and teaching all night long), or village church participation.
• Bottled, boiled, or filtered water (no running water in Wabinyira, but all of your water/hygiene needs will be met)
• Pit latrines and bucket showers if staying within Wabinyira (do not worry! We will teach you!)
• Laundry services taught and/or provided
• Limited access to electricity at times
• Food: a mix between local and familiar foods with lots of fresh tropical fruits!
