Uganda, officially the Republic of Uganda, is a landlocked country in East Africa. The country is bordered to the east by Kenya, to the north by South Sudan, to the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the south-west by Rwanda, and to the south by Tanzania. Uganda is in the African Great Lakes region, lies within the Nile basin, and includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria in the southern part of the country. As of 2023, it had a population of around 49.6 million, of which 8.5 million live in the capital city of Kampala.

Job Title: Missionary Project Manager - Sustainable Agriculture Program (Uganda)

Reports To: Farming God’s Way Uganda Regional Leader & Partner Church Leadership Position Overview:
Global Outreach International, in partnership with a large Ugandan church, seeks a dynamic, faith-driven leader to manage the implementation and expansion of Farming God’s Way, a sustainable agriculture resource empowering vulnerable women and children across Uganda. This role combines project management, spiritual mentorship, and community development to create lasting, biblically rooted change. The ideal candidate will oversee training initiatives, build local partnerships, and ensure the program’s sustainability while raising their own financial support for salary and expenses. Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Leadership
   • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Farming God’s Way resource in alignment with the church’s vision.
   • Train and equip local facilitators to teach sustainable farming techniques, integrating biblical principles with practical agriculture.
   • Develop timelines, budgets, and reporting systems to ensure accountability and impact.
2. Team Building & Collaboration
   • Foster unity among Ugandan staff, church staff, volunteers, and international partners.
   • Mentor local leaders and trainers to ensure long-term program ownership and scalability.
3. Fundraising & Stewardship
   • Raise 100% of personal salary, travel, and project expenses through Global Outreach International’s support-raising framework.
   • Manage program funds with integrity, ensuring alignment with donor expectations and project goals.
4. Community & Spiritual Engagement
   • Build relationships with vulnerable women, children, and community leaders to address spiritual and physical needs holistically.
   • Lead devotionals, workshops, and outreach activities that connect faith with sustainable livelihoods.
   • Boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 
5. Monitoring & Evaluation
   • Track program outcomes (e.g., crop yields, income generation, spiritual growth) and adjust strategies as needed.
   • Submit regular reports to team leader, Global Outreach, and church partners.
