I bring to Global Outreach International experience from the field and life itself. My husband and I were missionaries in the Middle East for 10 years, not knowing how long we would be there. We brought over our 2 oldest sons, and the Lord blessed us with 2 more sons while we were there. I love being a mom to boys, but it isn't perfect. Living overseas taught me so much you cannot learn in a classroom. I personally faced many struggles, including loneliness, the fallout of coming from a very dysfunctional family of origin, and finding the places where the Lord spoke to me in the most hurting places. The helped me see how He was working in me and the work He is still accomplishing in a world where challenges felt compounded and ridiculously out of reach. I pray the Lord keeps you as He has kept me, cared for, loved, and continued healing.
